The Sadness of Life

It’s true, sometimes life is really sad. When we think of things not going right, people being lost to hell, and hurts and pains mankind experiences. I keep coming back to an all wise and good God. We have to not dwell on the sad but the good. When we make an effort to look at the positive and not the negative it takes the weight off a bit. It is so easy to lose hope and constantly think of what’s going wrong and not think about what’s going right.

The people lost to hell is sad, but we don’t see the rejection of God in their lives, the people they hurt with no remorse, the destruction of what’s good. I think we need to discontinue the idea of the people in hell being good people. I truly think that’s what makes me sad is thinking they are good people. They are not.

Many innocent people do suffer, but remember all of our defaults when entering into this world are bad people. Jesus just gives us a chance to be “good people.” Although only God alone is good. Still, we can have a sadness about hell, but maybe this perspective takes some of the pressure off when you zoom in and really see what people are like, and it’s really really evil.

Looking at this world, it’s not easy to see we live in a very very evil world. Things are done behind closed doors, in secret. This is why Jesus tells us to confess, because many things if not for confession would only be known by God. I am very grateful for the good God we have access to. I keep pushing through hard times in life for the hope to leave this evil world in the dust forever, and go on to a better life in Heaven with God. Don’t focus on the bad, focus and believe our God is good and not responsible for the evil people choose to do or for the evil the fallen Angels freely choose to do or the evils we see in nature and the animals. There is a separation happening between light and darkness, let’s live in the light and turn away from every sin.
