God has delivered me from a lot. I have been threatened
homeless
separated from my wife
cheated on
lied to
left and abandoned
stranded
Mistreated by cops
been seen as evil
talked about negatively
crazy
broken up with
hit
Jumped
Mistreated by paramedics
denied my American rights
hated
gone hungry
been without money
in trouble.
I am still hopeful for my future
Are You Loving God and do you realize He is Holy?
Do you really love and treat others how you would like to be treated?
Do you get offended when people don’t treat you how you want to be treated?
Do you love your enemies?
I’ve Been reading a few articles about how to find peace and one is to keep it simple. Jesus says that when the Word of the Bible is sown in our heart, that we can make it hard for ourself to grow in Christ because we weigh ourself down by too many cares and desires for other things and for more money. We need to live the way God wants us to live and trust Him to provide for our needs. The Bible project did a great video on how God is a very generous God. Think about how big the universe is, we know God is generous. We need to trust that when we live the way God wants and do this to our best ability, He will provide for us in many ways. Why worry about food and clothing when we know God is caring for us and we are living the way He likes?
I watched a great video on Youtube about how to obey God. The youtuber said that we have to love God with all that we are, and if we are not doing that we see a decline in obedience. This sparks a good point.
To keep it simple i have seen many Christians point out that all we need to focus on is loving God and loving people. Not in some unintentional showy emotional way, but actually trying to help others and not hurt them, by thinking about what other people need and also loving God.
